Haiku is a form of Japanese poetry. Each poem consists of three lines with five syllables in the first line, seven syllables in the second line, and five syllables in the third line.
This is what I came up with:
MY BEST FRIEND (by: Doris)
Short, fluffy and stout
walking, sniffing all about
Outside, he and I
Doris, how sweet a poem. Totally wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI love Haiku Doris and love the fact you chose your little boy to be the recipient of your blessed words! Beautiful to be sure!
ReplyDeleteBlessings Sister Love! :)
When I was a teacher's assistant I helped kids with their Haiku's.
ReplyDeleteYour good at it and I know just who you are talking about!
Love,
sandie
My friend Doris
Is as sweet as she can be
And meet some day we!
